Announce coming events

Dates for the 2022 year are as follows.        

All future meetings are on hold until further notice.  In the interim the management team will meet as required to finalize any outstanding issues.  If over the coming months no one comes forward to run the meetings then the management team will have no other option then to close the GCV for good.

  1. Gracemere Community Voice has been pushing for a PCYC in Gracemere and we have the local Schools, Police and local Council members all behind this venture.  To make this a reality we need your help.
  2. VOAD stands for Volunteer Organisations Active in Disaster  Membership of the Rockhampton Region VOAD will allow your organisation to:  Collaborate with other community groups in disaster preparedness and resilience activities.  Engage in disaster volunteering.  Have access to disaster training opportunities.  Gain an awareness of the Queensland Disaster Management Arrangements.
  3. The new Gracemere 20MPA Modular Substation is now under construction scheduled for completion in 2022.   This substation will be connected to the Egans Hill complex to boost power supplies in Gracemere and surrounds.                www.ergon.com.au/gracemere-project to access updates and news letters on the above project.
  4. The Rockhampton Ring Road will be the next big project to affect Gracemere residents once the upgrade to Lawrie Street is completed.
